A true poet does not bother to be poetical. Nor does a nursery gardener scent his roses. -Jean Cocteau

Best Seller
How can every book have "New York Times Bestselling Author" on it? There must be one that is better than the rest, right? Or do they all have the same random amount of sales? Or maybe its all one huge lie trying to persuade me to buy more books........Like I care if its a bestseller or not.......

Change Part 1:
–verb (used without object)
to become different:
to become altered or modified
to become transformed or converted
a variation or deviation; alteration:
So what is change, really? How can one change permanently? I think that most people change (or at least are willing to to THINK about it) if they are in pain. Everyone is familiar with this kind of thing, right? When there's something in our life that makes us unhappy or uncomfortable we'll probably hope it will go away. If it doesn't, we start with baby steps to change the situation. But, if that doesn't work, we get to the point that we can't take it any more. That mental or physical pain gives us the courage to take other steps that may be more a lot harder, but are more likely to solve the problem for good.
But is pain the only way to change? Will one have to submit himself to an awkward or uncomfortable situation so that she/he can become better? Is all change unwilling in the beginning? These questions just started to come to me yesterday, and I can't get them out of my head! So I decided that I am going to do a bit of research about change. What make people do it, how permanent it is for different people and all that. I think this could get pretty interesting......Lets start with the Bible Dictionary, shall we? I love it! I think its the one of the most interesting parts in there!
Change (see also Alter; Conversion; God; Eternal Nature of; Man, New, Spiritually Reborn; Sanctification) So obviously its talking about a change in your soul. Do you think it would be possible to inflict this kind of change on yourself? I mean, we hear about people going through trials and how it makes them better and blah blah blah, but is a trial the only way to truly change?! More thoughts tomorrow.

Your Head is Too Big
This song just made me laugh so hard, the way they sing it and the words just....mesh. And here it is ladies and gentlemen, Your Head's Too Big, by the Ditty Bops
Your head's too big
It's taking up too much room
Your head's too big
It grows like a balloon
And it just might float away
And if you're unluckier than that
Someone such as myself might come along
And it just might pop
It was an accident...it just popped
Your head's too big
It's taking up too much room
It's filling with hot air
You're making your own self swoon
You're in love with yourself
Your head's so big and tall
How is it then your thoughts are small
Your head's so big and tall
You found yourself and lost us all
Your head's too big
It's taking up all the room
It's broken through the atmosphere
You're rubbing elbows with the moon
Your head's too big
It's taking up too much room
Your head's too big
It grows like a balloon
And it just might float away
And if you're unluckier than that
Someone such as myself might come along
And it just might pop
It was an accident...it just popped
Your head's too big
It's taking up too much room
It's filling with hot air
You're making your own self swoon
You're in love with yourself
Your head's so big and tall
How is it then your thoughts are small
Your head's so big and tall
You found yourself and lost us all
Your head's too big
It's taking up all the room
It's broken through the atmosphere
You're rubbing elbows with the moon
Good Morning America!!!
Haven't you always just loved the way that sounded? The thought of somebody greeting everybody in this wonderful country all at once just makes me happy! So this is the new site for my blog. My old one was ugly, boring, and lame. The purpose for my blog is to 1. Let random people know my thoughts on random subjects 2. To enlighten! and last but not least and maybe not even possible.... 3. To inspire! I love poetry, funny quotes, and inspiring thoughts. So if you know of some, PLEASE SHARE!

Deep Thoughts 3
Its funny that pirates were always going around searching for treasure, and they never realized that the real treasure was the fond memories they were creating.

Deep Thoughts 2
Broken promises don't upset me. I just think, why did they believe me in the first place?

Consider the daffodil. And while your doing that, I'll be over here, looking through your stuff.

Retail Value
So this is not as depressing or teenage angsty as it seems, but I am entertained by the message. This blog is for education after all.
We're not out just to offend the world
But somebody needs to make this known
All of us are full of insincerity
And none of us can admit we're wrong
I've been searching everywhere to find
An explanation as to why
I can't believe in me anymore
So sell your soul, trade in your innocence
There's such a high demand for minds that live in ignorance
We all gave in somewhere along the road
To buying all the mediocrity that we were sold
Everyone is so afraid to die
‘Cause everyone believes in truth
But nobody ever really thinks
That what is right for them is right for you
And I just want an answer as to why
No one can look me in the eye
And say what they believe anymore
We're not out just to offend the world
But somebody needs to make this known
All of us are full of insincerity
And none of us can admit we're wrong
I've been searching everywhere to find
An explanation as to why
I can't believe in me anymore
So sell your soul, trade in your innocence
There's such a high demand for minds that live in ignorance
We all gave in somewhere along the road
To buying all the mediocrity that we were sold
Everyone is so afraid to die
‘Cause everyone believes in truth
But nobody ever really thinks
That what is right for them is right for you
And I just want an answer as to why
No one can look me in the eye
And say what they believe anymore
